In a nutshell

You're tacky, and I hate you.

I'm Becca and I'm eighteen years old.
I enjoy banter, nakedness and painting.

So Mistress, Mistress have you been up to the roof?
He shot himself, self
There’s blood on the wall
‘Cause he couldn’t face the truth

sad summer

So im gona be working full time for the next five months. Earn about a grand a month, and probs gona save about 70% of it.

I keep thinking im going to have such a shitty summer, and its true, I really am. Though this summer is gona pay for the next few years if non boring times. I have loads of things I want to do and places to go, but with no job and no money, thats not possible.

This time in 5 years, I hope that im thankful for working my ass off so I could give myself a fun few years until things have to get serious and have to have a full time job.

“People ask why there are so few female artists who succeed. It’s because women are not ready to sacrifice as much as men. Women want a man, they want a family, they want to have children, they want to be loved, and to be an artist. And they can’t; it’s impossible.” - Marina Abramovic, in Bazaar, March 2012
(I read that this morning and have been thinking about it all day. Agree? Disagree? In my heart, I also cannot see all those things co-existing in one life, but I know it’s an unfashionable view. I can also forsee criticism for pairing that statement with this image, but I find this 1974 photo really captivating.)
